5 Travel Blogs Worth Reading

Tagged with: Travel Travel Blogs TravelingTravel blogs can be aptly called as ‘insightful virtual vignette of real place explorers’. More often than less, one gets much more than just a vignette from travel blogs. The main advantage, seen as a disadvantage by many too (two sides of the coin!), of travel blogs are that these provide opinionated, uncensored and explicit views about various places of the world with some crisp writing describing real life experiences (and not blindly using adjectives to a place never visited or fiction voyages alike). The existence of fake travel blogs can’t be undermined and keeping in concern, the vastness of internet, it’s quite unfair to honor few travel blogs as the best ones. However, here are 5 travel blogs that are worth reading-
1) www.worldhum.com – People with a good flair of writing (not just writers) have their take on the different cultures of the world.
2) www.crankyflier.com – This one-man authored blog has been conferred with many honors like the 2007 Reader’s choice best travel blog and has found a place for itself in the Observer’s choice 50 most powerful blogs. Aren’t these reasons enough?
3) www.Travelblog.org – A travel blog portal website where several individual travel blogs snuggle.
4) www.intelligentravel.typepad.com – One of the best travel blogs- authentic and sensible.
5) www.gridskipper.com/travel - This urban travel guide boasts of some skilled writing.
Go on! For a virtual tour with words!
